Osteoporosis is a widespread bone disease in old age, with at least six million people living with the diagnosis in Germany (German Rheumatism League, April 2022). It can stand alone or bring with it other clinical pictures and the associated considerable risks. Four medical training points have been approved by the Thuringian Medical Association. Registration is required by September 10 at: sekretariat@klinikzentrum.de

Such specialist conferences are to be established as an ongoing training and further education program at the multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic with a focus on orthopaedics and pneumology and have also been announced for 2025 on a biannual basis, one in spring and one in autumn. “The in-depth practical knowledge of regional and national experts provides an ideal basis for discussion and enables all those involved to share their experiences in order to provide patients with the best possible treatment,” explains Clinic Managing Director Mark Förste.
