It is the question out of wich arises, what is to remain

(Erich Kästner)
Questions point to the roots.
Questions evoke understanding—
stopping to understand.
Questions demand grasping.
Question lead to the present,
to the beginning and end
search for cause, effect and goal.
Qestions, creation
It is the questions out of which arises,
what is to remain
When my partner Klaus-Dieter Boehm and I started out, our marketing partner
Hans-Peter Schmidt in Freiburg im Breisgau suggested the motto »It is
questions out of which arises what is to remain« from a poem by Erich Kästner. We had worked together for several years and he knew us, our personalities and our strategies. It was in 1990 that we decided to pool our experience of economics, politics and society in a joint enterprise in the then newly reunified German state of Thuringia.
Our branch was health rehabilitation, our approach holistic and
wholehearted and our strategy a mixture of doubt, questioning and
dispute—a means of finding the right way and because we are different
in our approaches.
Today it is still the questions which lead us to the answers we have
been seeking. Now we are exploring ways to find health and happiness
whilst we search for the answers—after all, the motto of our company
is »health and happiness« (glück und gesundheit)
